Megastar’s Big Failure On Small Screen Continues

Megastar Chiranjeevi made a grand comeback to movies with Khaidi No 150. The film was a big hit and become the only film after Baahubali to cross 100 Cr share from Telugu alone.

A Television stint followed the super success of the movie. Chiranjeevi hosted the Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu replacing Nagarjuna. It was a disaster on small screen. The grand comeback didn’t help on TV. Now, the star’s movie premiere too has a similar fate.

For the kind of promotion Khaidi No 150 got on TV and the success it was in the theatrical run, the ratings are extremely low. Does this mean the excitement regarding Chiranjeevi was only reserved for the big screen?
