Mirai (Hindi) Day 2 BO: Huge Jump but a Big Threat

Mirai Hindi box office day 2 update

Teja Sajja‘s Mirai continued its strong run at the Indian box office on Saturday. After a steady opening day, the film showed solid growth. The Hindi version saw a significant jump in audience turnout, with collections rising 70 percent compared to Friday.

The Tollywood fantasy action adventure released on Friday to mostly positive reviews. Audience response has been good, with strong word of mouth helping draw bigger crowds on day two. This momentum has given the film a solid weekend boost.

According to box office trackers, Mirai (Hindi) collected Rs. 2.5 crores on Saturday. This is up from Rs. 1.5 crores on Friday, taking the two-day total to around Rs. 4 crores net at the Indian box office.

Teja Sajja’s last film HanuMan was a blockbuster in Hindi. It made Rs. 12 crores net in its first three-day weekend. In comparison, Mirai (Hindi) is at Rs. 4 crores so far and would need Rs. 8 crores more to match that number, which seems unlikely.

Sunday collections are expected to grow further. However, the India vs Pakistan cricket match may affect evening and night shows in the North. Early estimates suggest Mirai could earn Rs. 3 to 3.5 crores, taking the weekend total to around Rs. 7.5 crores.

While HanuMan still holds the upper hand for opening weekend numbers, Mirai could perform better in the long run. Weekday holds will be key to a strong first-week total. From September 19, it faces competition from the anticipated Jolly LLB 3.
