Especially, the distributors of ‘Lingaa’ have been protesting and pestering the superstar and his producers to pay back the money.

Of late a religious outfit, requested (?) Rajnikanth not to portray the character of Tipu Sultan. It is rather a threatening than just a mere request. In this scenario, the superstar’s recent comments on the judiciary have gained prominence.

In a commemorative ceremony of former Supreme Court Judge PS Kailasam, Rajni said that if the judiciary of the country goes wrong then everything would go wrong, beyond redemption. Court verdicts always had been on the superstar’s side if we take a look at the recent rulings on cases against him.

He observes that if politicians and citizens go wrong, there is redemption but not when judiciary goes wrong. In a way, the superstar lays supreme confidence in the judiciary of the country.
