Prime Minister Narendra Modi employed ultra modern techniques in his ruling in Gujarat and his election campaign in the recent General elections. Modi used to appear in the Saffron Kurtas with rustic look which used to give him more familiar look in the constituencies and people. However with Modi getting elevated the the Prime Minister’s post, his dressing style evolved over the time. His choice of costumes now is more urban and business oriented.
The sense is evident in his recent visit to BRICS summit in Brazil. Several top designers across the country say he is more involved in the apex community dressing neutral. At the same time, he avoids the usual blues, blacks and greys and used uncommon colours like Khaki to have a refreshing look. The out-went Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was criticized during his tenure for being too gloomy and conservative in his outfits and approach in International summits.
