Pic Talk: Mrunal Thakur Gets Badly Trolled, Why??

Mrunal Thakur in new film poster look

An actor or an actress need to be extremely careful about what they say in public forums as literally anything they say can come back to haunt them later.

Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur is experiencing a similar situation now as she is getting badly trolled on social media as a new poster of her upcoming film was released today.

The poster that we are talking about is from the film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The film features, Bollywood star Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles and the promotional campaign has started now.

Immediately after the release of the poster and a related video, it was understood that is playing a very glamorous role in the same. This has now triggered a round of criticism from the Telugu groups on social media.

This criticism is stemming from the recent comment from Mrunal Thakur at a Telugu Prem as she said she is having to be very selective with her roles in Telugu after films like Hi Nanna and Sitha Ramam. She said she had to turn down many big projects as she did not find them appeasing in terms of character presentation.

Now, social media users are calling out that Mrunal Thakur, who is so very conscious about picking films in Telugu has very little care about her choices in Hindi. They are saying that the poster released today has an adult and outdated commercial vibe.

If Mrunal is really looking to challenge the actor in herself, she’s bound to pick quality and novel subjects. She is not expected to pick such bold roles that have no suspense, commented an angry user.

But at the heart of it, it must be kept in mind that Mrunal Thakur is an actress by profession and it’s within her right to pick whatever kind of roles she wants. Just because she has a certain projection in Telugu, it doesn’t mean she needs to stick to it in other languages. But it would have been a safer optional for Mrunal to avoid the earlier comment in Telugu press meet as it has clearly backfired now.
