It was producer MS Raju’s Siddharth and Trisha starrer ‘Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana’ in which Trisha played a main role and Archana played a character role. At the same time, she was actually doing heroine roles in other films. But, MS Raju’s film branded her as a character artist which affected her career big way.
When Rajamouli offered her ‘Magadheera’ to play the role essayed by Saloni later, she outrightly rejected the offer as she had the experience of the branding she got for MS Raju’s film. There was a lot of confusion in her mind and she missed out on the offer. If she had accepted that role, it would have changed her career for the better as Rajamouli picked the same actress for Maryada Ramanna. But, it’s useless to cry over spilt milk, isn’t it?
