Pradeep Ranganathan’s highly anticipated film Dude directed by debutant Keerthiswaran is all set for a worldwide theatrical release tomorrow, October 17th, as a Diwali special.
With only a few hours left until its release, the pre bookings for the film are now happening at a fast pace and reports indicate that Dude is having strong pre bookings in many centers across Tamil Nadu.
In this scenario, the production company of the film Dude, Mythri Movie Makers
has shared a public note in which it has requested the theatre operators to maintain the audio level at a minimum of 5.5 to ensure a great cinematic experience.
While some people appreciate the efforts of the production house to ensure a great theatrical experience for Dude, others are criticizing them.
They feel that it seems like the audio mixer team has messed up the sound mixing, which is why the production house has come forward and requested the theatre operators to maintain it at the minimum level of 5.5. This way, if any criticism arises about the sound mixing they can blame the theatre operators for not maintaining it properly.
This is because they point out that no production house even for any of the recent biggies has asked the theatre operators to do this. Thus, they suggest that due to a fault in the sound mixing, the production house is trying to cover it up by releasing a public note.
However, Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dude has huge expectations among the audiences and with the proper promotions, it has solid pre release hype.
Therefore, if the Dude team delivers a solid film, it even has the opportunity to become the highest grossing movie of Pradeep Ranganathan by surpassing his last film Dragon, as Dude is having the advantage of a five day long weekend with the Diwali festival holidays.
Ultimately, it remains to be seen whether Dude will emerge as a blockbuster success and whether Pradeep Ranganathan’s success streak continues upon its release tomorrow.
