‘Manam’ has become the most important film in Akkineni clan and as it inches closer to release, the excitement surrounding seems to only multiple with every passing day. The film, which is directed by Vikram Kumar, is finally slated to release on May 23, and an excited Nagarjuna is extremely happy with how the film has shaped.
He said that when they made the decision to make a movie with all of them in it, they had listened to a lot of scripts. But none of them were up to the stature expected of the project. But Vikram came up with a dream script. Once he narrated the story to them, Nag realized that it was exactly what they were looking for.
Manam was the last film of acting legend Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Nag says the film gives every Telugu film lover to watch his father on the silver screen one last time.
