The National Film Awards for the year 2021 have been announced a short while ago and there is a fair bit of domination from Telugu cinema at the same.
The Best Actor in a feature film award has been won by Allu Arjun. This is the first time a Telugu hero won the national award for best actor.
Allu Arjun has thus scripted history by emerging as the very first Telugu actor to have won the national award and his fine act in Pushpa has been richly rewarded now. This is regarded as a proud moment for Telugu cinema.
With this, the hype on the Pushpa franchise reaches a new pinnacle and this should vastly help Pushpa 2 scale great heights at the Indian box office.
The best music director award is also associated to Pushpa as DSP won the award for the Bunny starrer.
The best feature film – Telugu – is won by Uppena, which is directed by Buchi Babu Sana.
RRR swept the technical categories like best action choreography, action sequences, choreography, background score, and others.
A resounding applause to @alluarjun for winning the prestigious Best National Actor award.

#Pushpa2 hype further soars with @alluarjun's national award win, adding huge pressure on Sukumar's team to meet the expectations.
A rare case where a film won a big award before sequel releases.@SukumarWritings #AlluArjun #NationalAwards
