Nayantara to replace late Soundarya?

For Telugu audience Soundarya, is like legendary Savitri. Even after so many years they couldn’t forget her and cannot think of any actress who can even come within the range of the family actress. She was one actress who brought great respect to heroine characters and did many female oriented films. Balayya Babu who has great penchant for mythological and epic characters, started a mythological film ‘Nartanashala’ starring Soundarya as Droupadi.

But Soundarya’s tragic untimely death, made Balayya to ditch the film altogether. A few scenes have been already canned on Soundarya playing the character of Droupadi. After the actress’ demise, the film makers couldn’t find a replacement for Soundarya. According to the latest buzz, Balayya is keen on reviving his film and hence is seriously thinking of an actress who can do justice to the role of Droupadi. Nayantara who has been in the actor’s good books since ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ and ‘Simha’ days, might be Balayya’s choice if the latest buzz is to be believed.
