Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently busy shooting his landmark NBK111 under the direction of Gopichand Malineni. The film, which went on floors a few months ago, is progressing quickly, with the team wrapping up major schedules one after another. According to the latest buzz, the makers have now started filming a special item song for the movie.
The project recently completed important scenes featuring Balakrishna, Samuthirakani, and other key actors. Meanwhile, cinematographer Aravind Kashyap shared a picture from the shooting location, which quickly went viral among Balayya fans on social media.
S.Thaman is once again composing music for Balakrishna, and fans are especially curious about the latest mass item number. In recent years, Balakrishna’s films have featured heavily discussed dance songs, though not all received positive reactions.
In Akhanda 2, the item song featuring Samyuktha Menon faced criticism for its abrupt placement and weak choreography. Similarly, “Dabidi Dibidi” from Daaku Maharaj, featuring Urvashi Rautela, became one of the most trolled songs in recent times because many viewers found some of the choreography and visuals excessive. The song still generated massive buzz on social media and brought attention to the film even on pan India level due to trolling and memes.
Because of that history, the latest item song in NBK111 has already become a hot topic even before its official reveal. Fans and trade circles are waiting to see whether it can create a stronger impact than the previous songs and whether it will actually contribute to the film’s narrative.
Another major point of curiosity is the identity of the actress appearing alongside Balakrishna in the special number. The makers have still not revealed her name, and industry insiders believe the secrecy is intentional to build hype closer to release.
The film also marks Kajal Aggarwal’s second consecutive collaboration with Balakrishna after Bhagavanth Kesari. The movie is being produced on a lavish scale by Vridhi Cinemas, the banner also backing Peddi.
