As per the inside birdies, this film created a lot of interest among Kannada film makers. And the producers who are remaking ‘Prema Katha Chitram’ in Kannada also have bought the remake rights of ‘Maaya’ for huge amount. Interestingly one more news which has surfaced is, that even the Mollywood producers are showing interest in this movie as Malayalam makers like this kind of variety to experiment. Nevertheless nothing is made official yet, the remake rights of the movie have become hot property currently. Harshavardhan Rane is going to romance three heroines for the film, Avantika and Sushma Raj are playing female leads. Got to wait and see if Neelakanta could repeat his magic (‘Maaya’) of his lost glory at the box-office.
