In the latest development for MAA elections, senior actor Mohan Babu extended his support to Jayasudha and gave a call to give place to a woman to become MAA President. And another development comes in the form of a counter to Jayasudha’s press meet, Rajendra prasad’s latest Press Meet too had its share of mudslinging on the opponent’s group.
RP’s panel mainly accused Murali Mohan for his dual standards and Nagababu vented his anger on him for calling Rajendra Prasad not upto the stature for holding MAA President post. As a counter to the allegation, Rajendra Prasad said that no one in the industry can match up to his stature. And gave a list of his accomplishments.
He spoke widely on the politics played on him and questioned why there is so much hate on him when he said he wanted to do something for poor artists. “What’s wrong in expressing desire to do service,” questioned RP. He thrashed the allegations that he put political pressures on Jayasudha or distributing cell phones for vote.
Altogether it was a counter press meet and the anger seemed more on Murali Mohan than on Jayasudha for misleading her. Nagababu assured that he would be with RP till the elections are fought and Kadambari Kiran Kumar too questioned the genuinity of the panel which was consituted by Jayasudha’s group.
