Keerthy Suresh and Nithin’s rant has been continuing since the day the duo started promoting their movie ‘Rang de’. Even on the stage at Rajamahendravaram during the pre-release event, Nithin was seen teasing her and calling her naughty.
Music director Devi Sri Prasad said, “She is not only ‘Mahanati’ but also ‘Maha Naughty’,” talking about the real-life nature of Keerthy Suresh. Nithin went a step ahead saying that ‘Rang De’ is Keerthy Suresh’s biopic because she is the same in her real-life, a naughty young girl.
‘Mahanati’ gave Keerthy Suresh a certain kind of image and the following movies ‘Penguin’ and ‘Miss India’ were women-centric movies that had Keerthy playing the lead role. However, both of them disappointed big time at the box-office and Keerthy’s choices didn’t match the image she earned with ‘Mahanati’.
It’s necessary that she gets out of the image and now, Keerthy Suresh will be seen playing a lighter role in a romcom and definitely that’s a different one for her after several heavy roles in the recent past. Hope, her real-life persona like character would help her deliver a successful movie, this time.
