Junior NTR is currently working with commercially sound filmmaker, Prashanth Neel for a project tentatively titled Dragon. While the film is currently in production, there’s a bit too much talk happening on the same.
Till now, not a single major promotional material has been released from the film. Moreover, there have been several doubts and apprehension about the kind of visual presentation NTR will have in the film.
This is partially due to the extreme weight loss journey, NTR endured this film. He is almost recognisable after losing a whole lot of weight and undergoing a massive transformation.
It all comes down to Prashanth, designing the character and presenting it in such a way that the hard-work of Tarak pays off. In a new picture of NTR, where he shows his lean physique is now going viral.
This might be briefly satisfying for a section of fans to get a glimpse of the makeover of Taarak. But this period of exciting fans with brief glimpses is over already.
The film had been in production for nearly a year now, and there is no clarity on the release date or the completion of the shooting process in the first place. These occasional gym pictures and videos and orchestrated social media posts hyping up the film will account for little in terms of general audience reach.
The responsibility is now on Prashanth to somehow orchestrate promotional material first to reduce the public apprehensions on this film. The scale of the project and also the visual presentation of NTR must be glorified to the fullest capacity at the earliest and that’s for certain.
