January when a star Hero, select a project with a big director, many crucial details regarding the lead cast and the shooting schedules are locked and loaded much in advance.
But in the case of the ongoing project of NTR and Prashanth Neel, this isn’t even remotely the case. In fact, things have gone the opposite way.
It has been over a year since the start of this project and there is still no update on the shooting patterns or the percentage of the shooting that has been completed.
Even to this day, we keep hearing multiple reports about the possible inclusion of other language actors in this film. This is not what would be expected from a film of the scale a year after it has started the shoot.
There is a lot of ifs and buts associated with this project at a very fundamental level. Starting from the shooting delay to the locking of the lead cast, not a single thing has been straightforward.
When an extremely capable director like Prashanth is working with a star hero a lot more clarity and execution of thought is expected. NTR would have also offered for the same before locking this project, but sadly for him, things are not going exactly as intended.
But at the end of the day, Prashanth is an extremely capable filmmaker, and he can certainly deliver one of the better films for NTR in recent times. This is the saving grace for the film, and in the meanwhile, the production costs might keep piling up for the producers.
