Though nothing much was expected of Nagarjuna’s Om Namo Venkatesaya, the film opened to some very dull collections in the US. The devotional drama grossed a total of $15k from the premiere shows in the US which is shockingly low. Even though the weather was quite bad in the eastern part of the country, the film managed to do very less.

As there have been some positive reviews that have come in for the film, the project should pick up over the next few days. Generally, films like these do not much craze and only mouth talk helps these films.
Nagarjuna, in particular, has won a huge applause for this performance as Hathi Ram Baba and K Raghavendra has not deviated the story much making the film a decent watch at least for Nag’s role.
It would be really interesting to see how this film performs in the coming days as there is no big film that is coming out.
