NTR’s Devara had a grand theatrical debut on the 27th of this month and it had a fairly strong start at the box office. The film is now heading in for an all important opening weekend which needs to be huge as well.
Coming to the topic, there was one big headache for Tarak pertaining to the dubbing in other languages and this box has been luckily ticked off for him.
Going by the reactions thus far in the Tamil and Hindi languages, the audience have largely been receptive of Tarak’s dubbing work.
While NTR already had dubbed in other languages for RRR, it was a larger than life film that had other elements to add to dubbing and moreover, a task master like Rajamouli was at the helm.
In the case of Devara, there’s the need to deliver pinpoint dialogues with right diction to get the right emotion for the scene. So the onus was entirely on NTR to get it right. There are certain crisp dialogues that need to be told in a nuanced manner and Tarak appears to have succeeded in the same.
There are several tweets on Tarak getting the Tamil and Hindi language dubbing on point.
Had there been any stutters in other language dubbing it could have adversely affected the film. But luckily for Tarak, the bright orator that he is, he has ticket off this dubbing box with ease.
