The chaos caused by the postponement of “Salaar” needs no introduction, affecting both big and small production houses, with almost everyone falling victim to Hombale Films’ misplanning.
Yesterday evening, news broke that Salaar distributors had started receiving emails, suggesting that the film would be released on December 22, 2023, coinciding with Christmas and clashing with SRK’s “Dunki.”
However, neither the director nor the production house, Hombale, has officially confirmed the new release date yet.
Interestingly, director Prashanth Neel’s wife, Likitha Reddy, made it official. She updated her Instagram status with a message that reads, “December 2023 will never be the same,” thereby confirming the release date for “Salaar.”
This can be considered an official announcement, as it comes directly from the director’s wife, even though she has no direct involvement in the film.
