Vijay Deverakonda is keenly awaiting the release of Family Star which is up for release on the 5th of April. The promotions of this film have bee rather low-key thus far, but things could take a positive swing once Vijay jumps into action.
Coming to the topic, we are seeing a very interesting pattern with Vijay’s films and cricketing tournament, IPL.
Incidentally, Vijay had promoted Liger and Kushi at IPL shows earlier. In the case of Liger, there was a brief promotional campaign led by Vijay at an IPL stadium. When it comes to Kushi, both Samantha and Vijay D did a Telugu show that was telecast during IPL.
Now, for Family Star, Vijay appears to have repeated the tradition as going by a new set of pics on social media, he has taken part in an IPL pre-match show and promoted Family Star there.
IPL is the biggest sporting tournament in India and having a film promotional show here could increase the reach of the film that much more. Vijay appears to have grasped the same and luckily for him, his films are releasing in close vicinity of the IPL which is enabling him to use this wide platform. He is the only hero who has assessed the reach of IPL and using the same to propel his films.
