After the Uri attacks, the tension between the two countries led to an unimposed ban of the cine artists and movies across the borders. Actors like Fawad Khan who essayed crucial roles in big budget movies weren’t allowed to cross borders to promote their movies.

Now, the situation seemed to have become a little less tense. Two actors had been issued visas by Government of India to cross borders for acting in yesteryear diva Sridevi‘s upcoming movie ‘Mom’. The two actors are Siddiqui, who is said to be playing Sridevi’s husband and Sajal Ali, essaying the role of Sridevi’s daughter.
‘Mom’ is coming from the home production house of Sridevi Boney Kapoor and the producer is taking every care to make it very special for his wife. So, he is roping in the best of talents. Hopefully, this move by our government to issue visas will improve the situation and ease the tensions between the two countries.
