Pooja also was one among those actresses who claimed that they didn’t have to go through the casting couch issue. But, though she didn’t experience it, Pooja says that it’s important to talk about the victims who faced the sexual exploitation in the industry to see to that our sisters don’t have to face the same pain in the future.
But, she advised that it’s not always important to compromise to reach a position that one is passionate about. Without compromising and not giving in to the vicious demands of others, one can achieve the goal through sheer hard work.
All said and done, Pooja told that those who had compromised and had gone through the casting couch experience must speak up as that awakens the society to the reality, also gives a scope to reform the industry and make it a better place for women.
