Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, this big-budget film is tentatively titled Baka, inspired by the Mahabharata’s Bakasura.
The film is expected to be a high-end visual spectacle, with Prabhas portraying a powerful character.

The story of Bakasura is well-known—he was a demon who demanded human sacrifices from villagers until Bheema defeated him. However, it is said to be a modern and unique reimagining of the tale, not a straightforward mythological film.
Prasanth Varma gained nationwide recognition with his film Hanu Man. He has already announced Jai Hanuman to expand the universe he created.

With Raja Saab stuck in limbo for three years, and no clear timelines for Kalki 2 or Salaar 2, only Fauji seems to be on track. If Baka is added, its fate looks just as uncertain.
Moreover, Prasanth Varma’s capabilities are under question. While Hanu Man was a hit, many felt it had flaws except for its climax.
Handling a superstar like Prabhas requires a different level of filmmaking, and with Prasanth juggling multiple projects, his commitment to this film is uncertain.
