People who have followed Baahubali need not be reminded again how Rana was the biggest branded character out of the epic movie after the director SS Rajamouli. It was always Rana doing the talking and facing the media. He shared equal space with Prabhas on billboards and other promotional materials. But everything has changed now.
In all the promotional materials of Baahubali 2 so far Prabhas is the single one getting highlighted or he is accompanied with Anushka. Even in the interviews, Prabhas is getting the preference. There has been a general feeling in Prabhas camp that he was given a raw deal in the first part. Keeping that in mind, the makers, including the director, are giving a huge push to Prabhas. Let’s see if this helps in creating the right brand image for the star or not.
