The voting process for the 2024 general elections in the Telugu states concluded on May 13, with a significant turnout. Especially, Andhra Pradesh witnessed a large voting turnout, which stood at 81.86%.

Many film celebrities have also cast their votes, setting an example for their fans. However, one notable absence was of Rebel Star Prabhas, who did not vote, disappointing many.

Some netizens have already questioned Prabhas on social media for not fulfilling this basic civic duty and trolled him for the same.

Meanwhile, it has now been announced that Prabhas will be one of the chief guests at the upcoming Director’s Day event in Hyderabad. Megastar Chiranjeevi and Icon Star Allu Arjun will also attend as chief guests, along with Prabhas.

Director’s Day is celebrated on May 4, which marks the birth anniversary of legendary filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao. This year, a special event will be held on May 19, to celebrate Director’s Day.

In the meantime, many people believe Prabhas’ decision was wrong. They stated that while he didn’t leave his house to vote, he was attending a film-related event within the same week.
