Prabhas and Salman Khan happened to be two of the biggest superstars in Indian cinema. If everything goes as planned, these two superstars could be crashing against each other at the ticket counters next March.
The makers of Sandeep Reddy and Prabhas’s Spirit had already announced that the film would be releasing in theatres on March 5 next year.
This is closely followed by the latest announcement from the makers of Salman Khan and Vamsi Paidipally’s film as they’ve communicated Eid 2027 release (March 9 or 10).
Is the fact that there is a lot of production activity left to be done for both the films to actually release in theatres by next March.
In case both the films actually end up releasing in March, this could pave way for a mouth watering clash at the ticket counters. There might not be much of a clash in South as Prabhas is sure to dominate here.
But the real madness will unfold in Hindi. Prabhas is already unknown face in the Hindi belt, and Sandeep Reddy has built reputation with Kabir Singh and Animal.
The last time, Prabhas clashed with Bollywood superstar was when Salaar took on SRK’s Dunky. Prabhas was the winner back, then by a comfortable margin. And now, if he actually ends up clashing with Salman, a similar fate could unfold considering the Spirit combination madness of Prabhas and Sandeep.
But as we had mentioned earlier, both the films are still very early in production, and the chances are very low for a clash in the first place due to the large volume of shooting left to be done.
