A sad report has come from New York, where a student from Khammam, Telangana had gone for higher studies. Nallamala Akshitha passed away from a sudden cardiac arrest earlier today.
Akshitha had travelled to the US to pursue a master’s degree. She recently finished her Master in Science degree, and had been trying to get a job in city of New York.
However, this sudden tragedy has cut her life short, leaving her family in a state of shock.
Their daughter’s sudden passing has given her family no chance to make any sort of plans. They reside at Mamatha Road in Khammam.
Master of Science is a common degree for higher studies for Telugu students. They obtain an F-1 visa to enter the US, and can later find jobs in the country.
However, in case of such tragedies, families are left separated by thousands of miles.
The Indian consulate in New York usually helps repatriate mortal remains. However, it is a difficult process which takes several days.
Telugu diaspora groups can help in such situation, raising funds and coordinating with family back in India.
The tragedy has left Akshitha’s family facing a difficult time, as they away further information from the US, and look for ways to bring her home.
