Is Pradeep Ranganathan Losing Track After LIK?

Pradeep Ranganathan next film rumours update

Following the back-to-back success of Dragon and Dude, Pradeep Ranganathan returned with his long-pending project Love Insurance Kompany (LIK). Directed by Vignesh Shivan, the film released in theatres on April 10 and received mixed responses from audiences and critics.

Due to negative word of mouth, LIK failed to hold its ground at the box office. The film ended up as a major disappointment and also halted Pradeep Ranganathan’s successful run of high-grossing films.

Pradeep Ranganathan has not officially announced his next project yet. However, some reports suggest that he may collaborate on an action thriller directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

At the same time, strong speculation is circulating on social media about another possible project. Reports claim director Venkat Prabhu recently narrated a script to Pradeep Ranganathan and that the actor has given his approval.

If the buzz is true, an official announcement could arrive soon. However, there is still no confirmation from the actor or the makers regarding this rumoured collaboration.

Some social media users feel Pradeep Ranganathan may lose momentum by working with directors they consider out of form. They believe Venkat Prabhu and Chandra Sekhar Yeleti are currently not enjoying their best phase.

Others point out that the success of Dragon and Dude came under younger directors who effectively presented Pradeep Ranganathan’s style and screen presence. Fans feel fresh collaborations may help him strengthen his position in Kollywood.

For now, no official update has been released on either project. It remains to be seen whether Pradeep Ranganathan teams up with Venkat Prabhu and how his next career move shapes up.
