Ever since the release of Dude, social media has been buzzing about Pradeep Ranganathan’s meteoric rise. The film’s box office collections are now on par with those of several tier-two Kollywood stars, establishing him as one of the most promising new-age actors.
After the blockbuster success of Dude, all eyes are now on his next outing, Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), directed by Vignesh Shivan. Following multiple delays, the film is finally set for a worldwide theatrical release on December 18.
During the promotions of Dude, Pradeep Ranganathan revealed that his next project after LIK will be a science fiction film. He confirmed that he will not only direct the project but also play the lead role, marking his return to direction after Love Today.
Earlier, strong reports suggested that after Comali, Pradeep had narrated a science fiction story to Vijay, which was initially considered for his 67th film before Leo was finalised. The project didn’t materialise then due to scheduling and creative reasons.
Now, many believe that Pradeep has revived that same story for his upcoming project, this time tailored to his own acting and storytelling style. Fans are curious to see how he reimagines it on screen.
Given his track record, expectations are already sky-high. After Love Today, audiences are eagerly waiting to see him blend his unique storytelling with a high-concept sci-fi theme.
