Jr. NTR and KGF director Prashanth Neel’s long-awaited collaboration has finally taken off. The film, tentatively titled NTRNEEL or Dragon, began its pre-production in August 2024 with a puja ceremony.
Now, the makers have officially started shooting and shared a picture from the sets. The image shows Neel standing atop a car, instructing a large crowd amidst a debris-filled backdrop of burnt cycles, cars, and tires.

Prashanth Neel’s wife Likitha Reddy Neel also posted the same pic and wrote, “Finally the time has come. He holds that mic and the rest is history. The deadliest showdown begins. Welcome to the TERRITORY of DESTRUCTION. Can’t wait for NTR anna to join the sets.”
While there’s no official confirmation, rumors suggest Dragon as the final title, with Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas and Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth joining the cast. The film is slated for a grand release on January 9, 2026.

Meanwhile, Jr. NTR recently wrapped up Devara: Part 1 and is set to make his Bollywood debut in War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan. Prashanth Neel, fresh off the success of Salaar: Part 1, will reportedly begin work on its sequel after completing this project.
