Project_K_First_Look_Response_Social_MediaPeople didn’t know much of what to expect from Prabhas’s Project K. This is why the initial round of promotions was of ultimate importance. However, the team has stuttered at this crucial step.

A short while ago, the much-hyped first-look poster of Prabhas from Project K was unveiled and it has turned out to be a bummer, going by the initial reactions on social media.

The first complaint is that the poster looks like a prematurely edited image with Prabhas’s face cropped and fitted in some sci-fi film poster. There’s no proper blending of CGI and realism.

Telugu audiences aren’t accustomed to seeing their superstars in superheroes or other-worldly kinds of looks. If this was the case with Project K from the start, they should’ve dropped subtle hints rather than dropping an alienated-looking poster of Prabhas all of a sudden amidst so much hype and anticipation.

Going by the early reactions all over, the poster has failed to get even anywhere near the expectations, let alone match them. This is the kind of instant negative response that the teaser of Adipurush got with its low-grade VFX. A few are remembering how Om Raut bummed everyone out with Adipurush teaser, now after seeing Project K poster.

For a film that entirely depends on CGI and VFX, rolling out a poor-grade poster like this is a blunder from the team. If things backfire in terms of visual presentation, the negativity will be unfathomable.

But fans are still hopeful of the teaser as they believe in Nag Ashwin’s credibility after the kind of final product he delivered with Mahanati. The onus is now on the teaser that is to be unveiled soon to undo this bad work and create a sense of positivity amongst the Telugu folk.
