As per the latest box office updates, Pushpa 2 has set a new all-time record in terms of worldwide opening day gross. The film has grossed over Rs 260 crores worldwide and this is the biggest opening day tally for any Indian film by a countrymile.
Pushpa 2 has thus beaten the RRR record by a margin of 30 crores as it has gone bonkers at the box office.
In the Nizam region, the film has set an unprecedented record by reportedly collecting Rs 25+ crore share here. This is the first time in history that a film has breached the 25 crore share mark in the Nizam belt.
Pushpa 2 made the most of the sequel advantage and the massive ticket hikes that are involved and it has gone absolutely wild.
With particularly good boosts from the North Indian belts and overseas, Pushpa 2 posted such massive numbers. As for the domestic markets, the paid premiered and ticket prices worked in its favor in the end.
