Following the success of his latest film ‘Irudhi Suttru,’ R Madhavan has thrown himself in the deep end of the shooting. His latest film took three years in the making and the film had him playing the role of a boxing coach where he was appreciated for his performance.

Now Madhavan is moving on to greener pastures and in likely to be seen as an encounter specialist. The proposed film is tentatively titled Vikram-Veda. The film makers are in talks with Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi for lead roles. Vijay will be seen in the film as a gangster.
As for other cast members, it will all be finalised by April and if all goes well, the shooting may begin as early as May.
