There is a belief on social media that Reddit leaks and theories are never completely wrong.
After seeing Allu Arjun’s first look on the poster for Raaka, a Reddit user predicted the plot of this upcoming film directed by Atlee. Since Atlee is known for taking inspiration from Western movies, the user imagined a wild plot that seems inspired by Man of Steel.
The story goes like this: Allu’s father and Deepika are the warrior king and queen of another universe. Allu’s evil uncle hates them because he is bald and cursed. When Deepika is in labor, the uncle attacks his brother with magic, and the infant Allu is sent to the human universe for safety.
Twenty four years later, Allu is an adult. He has a girlfriend, Rashmika, and is a pacifist, though he is incredibly strong due to his bloodline.
Near his 25th birthday, he is attacked but saved by Mrunal, who comes from his original dimension. She explains his past and warns him that his evil uncle is dying and needs to sacrifice Allu before Allu unlocks his full power on his birthday.
Allu is shocked and confides in his girlfriend, but there is a twist, Rashmika is secretly a general sent by the evil uncle to monitor him and keep him a coward so he never discovers his true potential. Action and chases follow, including an item number with Janhvi. Allu and Mrunal hop through dimensions to defeat the evil uncle once and for all. Mrunal is mortally wounded by Rashmika, which triggers “Super Allu” mode. He defeats them all, heals Mrunal, and rules the kingdom.
After this plot went viral, fans on social media started trolling the user for “cooking” such a hilarious story. However, some pointed out that Atlee often borrows elements from other films, especially since he frequently makes movies with double roles. There is a possibility he might use similar tropes.
Allu Arjun is a smart actor who rarely signs mediocre projects. There must be an “X factor” in the project, which is likely why he chose to work on it.
