Aamir Khan’s cousin and director Mansoor Khan revealed recently in an interview that the ace director SS Rajamouli said Aamir Khan did overacting in his last film Laal Singh Chaddha.
Aamir Khan had arranged special screenings of his film Laal Singh Chaddha for Megastar Chiranjeevi, SS Rajamouli, Nagarjuna, and Naga Chaitanya before its theatrical release. After the screening, Aamir came out and said that everyone loved the film, including Rajamouli. He had lied that Rajamouli was moved to tears after watching the film.
But now the truth has been revealed by Aamir’s cousin. In an interview with PTI, Mansoor said, “Aamir Khan has a great sense of humor. So one day, he laughingly tells me, ‘When you told me it was over the top, I said, ok, you are a subtle guy, which is why you might have felt that way. But when someone like Rajamouli tells me overacting lag raha hai, I said to myself, even if Rajamouli says so, then I definitely might have messed it up.'”
It once again proves that Rajamouli’s judgment is impeccable and can’t go wrong. Laal Singh Chaddha was a disaster, and Aamir’s performance was panned by everyone.
