It is known to our readers that IVY Entertainment, one of the Financial Partners of Prabhas’s Rajasaab, approached the Delhi High Court against the Producers.
In its Petition, IVY mentioned that it reportedly invested about Rs 218 crore in acquiring worldwide theatrical and non-theatrical rights along with contractual safeguards including guaranteed returns and co-presenter credits.
But then, they alleged that People Media Factory failed to meet several contractual obligations, including completing and releasing the film on time, providing monthly production updates, disclosing fund utilisation, delivering agreed materials relating to the film, and delaying the theatrical release multiple times.
IVY sought a Permanent Injunction from the High Court. The company either wanted to get its investment back with 18% Interest or intended to take over the project, finish production of the movie, and release it to protect its investment.
But then, it appears like they reached to a compromise and it is evident from the Trailer released today.
In this trailer, we can see IVY Entertainment as the Co-Presenter in the same card of the People Media Factory.
Also, Ishan Saksena is named as the Co-Producer as the film. His name is present in the same card of TG Vishwa Prasad.
It is also interesting to note that IVY Entertainment/Ishan Saksena were mentioned above People Media Factory/TG Vishwa Prasad. But then, People Media Factory/TG Vishwa Prasad are in bigger fonts to ensure they register to the audience.
In the teaser released a few months ago, Ishan Saksena and IVY Entertainment were not present in the Banner and Producer cards.
Ishan Saksena’s name was mentioned in the final card of the teaser but without any credit.
This prominence in the trailer indicates both parties have arrived at a compromise clearing decks for the movie release.
