Bagging a National Award for the best feature film is indeed a great achievement but director Praveen Sattaru says it’s a slap for the reviewers who wrote poor reviews on ‘Chandamama Kathalu’ which went on to get the prestigious award. At times, the director sounds arrogant and immediately turns modest.

Even ‘Baahubali’ received negative reviews but went on to become a blockbuster. Instead of going harsh on the media, hope he understands this nuance that every film isn’t a Baahubali, though. Praveen mocked at the recent horror comedies featuring comedians acting as ghosts.
Praveen Sattaru is no doubt, talented and he proved his mettle as a filmmaker by trying different genres like romantic movies to adult comedies and now a spy-thriller ‘PSV Garuda Vega’. The director has this habit of preparing a full bound script before approaching anyone.
But, he can’t narrate like others as he thinks one can manipulate things while narrating. That’s the reason why he isn’t getting an A-lister star. Today the stupidest videos are trending on YouTube and he says that the shows like ‘Jabardast’ are stupid shows.
