Rakasa: Atharvana Bhadrakali Lock 350+ Overseas Screens

Rakasa accelerates its international ambitions as it partners with Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures for a wide overseas rollout across more than 350 theatres. The release will span the United States, Europe, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, marking a coordinated global launch designed for scale, reach and sustained visibility.

The collaboration with Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures reflects structured overseas planning rather than routine expansion. The scale of the launch indicates clear distributor confidence in the film’s cross-market potential and audience pull.

Interest around the project has been building steadily since its title announcement and first glimpse. Introducing audiences to its tonal atmosphere and visual identity without revealing narrative specifics, the glimpse has crossed 1.8 Million views, generating measurable traction across domestic and overseas platforms.

Written and directed by Manasa Sharma, the film marks her feature directorial debut after establishing herself as a storyteller in the digital space. She previously served as writer and creator for Oka Chinna Family Story and directed Bench Life, both under Pink Elephant Pictures. With Rākāsā, she transitions into feature filmmaking while continuing her creative association with the banner.

The film stars Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles. Sangeeth returns following back-to-back commercial successes with MAD and MAD Square, strengthening his rising theatrical presence. The ensemble further includes Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Getup Srinu.

Presented by Z Studios and produced under Pink Elephant Pictures by Niharika Konidela and Umesh Kumar Bansal, Rākāsā approaches its worldwide theatrical release on April 3, 2026, carrying structured international backing and expanding global momentum.
