Charan is working on a new film under the direction of Buchi Babu Sana, known for Uppena. The movie is being produced on a grand scale by Venkat Satish Kilaru in association with the ‘Mythri’ banner. Janhvi Kapoor has been cast as the heroine, and A.R. Rahman is providing the music.
Buchi Babu recently shared that Rahman has already composed three songs.

There are speculations that this film will help Ram Charan enter the pan-India arena as a solo hero.
However, some are doubtful whether Buchi Babu has the capacity to handle a star of Charan’s stature.

For a film like Uppena, starring newcomers with no expectations, Buchi Babu delivered a decent film with good music, and it did well. But that’s not so simple with Ram Charan’s film.
There will be humongous expectations from a film featuring a star like Ram Charan. On top of that, as claimed by the hero’s PR team, there are a lot of external negative forces trying to pull his films down. So, Buchi Babu Sana’s film has to be extraordinary in all aspects to work big time.
Only a good climax won’t help, as it happened in Uppena. The writing and direction have to be extraordinary for Ram Charan to make a huge comeback.
The film has to be equally and consistently good and should have content that impacts in a big way, which is not going to be easy.
