There was this latest interview of Rana Daggubati that was uploaded on a popular YouTube channel where Rana was asked questions about the filmmaking in South India and how North audiences look at the whole thing.
When the host asked Rana about the stereotypical perspective on South films where North people look at the films made in South as comparatively inferior, Rana literally slapped the anchor with his epic reply saying how amazed he was about how dumb Indians are about other States.
The host said that when she made to watch Baahubali, she thought that it was surreal that a South movie was made on such a gigantic magnitude. Rana gave a befitting answer telling her how there is no language for story telling unless we create that divide.
A short satirical video with extracts of her dumbness and Rana’s tight replies is making rounds on social media that actually says it all, their low opinion on our films.
But, when we watch the complete interview, to some extent, her statements were taken out of context and remixed with Rana’s reply for a different question.
