Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Atal Setu, India’s largest sea link bridge in January, connecting Mumbai with Navi Mumbai. Actress Rashmika Mandanna praised its impact, reducing a two-hour journey to just 20 minutes.

Rashmika expressed optimism about India’s progress, lauding the country’s growth in infrastructure. She highlighted the rapid development over the past decade, attributing it to visionary planning and execution.

During the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Rashmika encouraged young voters to participate responsibly, asserting that India’s youth are becoming more discerning and proactive in shaping the country’s future through informed voting.

As anticipated, Rashmika faced social media backlash for purportedly endorsing the current government.

Many argued that the bridge she lauded was actually initiated by the Congress government, not the present administration.

Others accused her of insensitivity, citing the recent deaths of 14 poor people in Mumbai when a hoarding collapsed.

Additionally, there were questions regarding her authority to give advice to others when she hadn’t voted in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Some also accused her of engaging in paid promotions for the government.
