Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja pinned high hopes on Mass Jathara to pull him out of a slump, but the movie has been slammed by critics and general audiences right from the first premieres in India and the U.S. The response has been overwhelmingly negative.
Strangely, a star like Ravi Teja who should be immune to social media trolls, seems to be deeply affected this time.
In Mass Jathara, there is a scene between Rajendra Prasad and Ravi Teja where the senior actor is caught in fan wars on Twitter. Ravi Teja intervenes and lashes out at social media users.
Ravi Teja says:
“సొంత పేరు పెట్టుకొని కామెంట్ చేసే దమ్ము లేదు మీకెందుకు రా Twitter… 80% Sick-Minded, Jealous, Bhaavi lo Kappas, Chikathilo Morige Kukkas, Brainless, Jobless, Negative-Minded, and Hypocrites!!”
He goes on a dandakam mode, clearly showing his grudge against social media users. While criticizing abusive trolls is understandable, a star of his stature going on like this only exposes his vulnerability.
