The other day, Rashmika announced quitting Nithin and Venky Kudumula’s film. Her team tipped the media about it and said this is due to dates issue. There are reports that Sree Leela may come in her place.
Rashmika already shot one day for the film and the second schedule was to begin on the 20th. So, this decision came as a surprise to everyone. Rumors in Filmnagar suggest that there is something more to this issue.
A few days ago, Rashmika parted ways with her manager Kiran. And the buzz is this exit has got something to do with that. Kiran is also the manager of Venky Kudumula. He runs an agency that manages heroines like Malavika Nair, Anupama Parameswaran, Sree Leela, and Mrunal Thakur along with Rashmika.
We do not know what went wrong but Kiran recently started promoting Sree Leela and Mrunal Thakur over Rashmika. He is saying to the filmmakers that Bollywood is Rashmika’s priority right now and asking them to prefer Sree Leela or Mrunal.
Sources say that Rashmika was the first pick for Vijay Deverakonda – Parasuram film to recreate the Geetha Govindham combination but it was Kiran who used his clout with the production house to have Mrunal Thakur in her place.
There were rumors about money misappropriation but this is the bigger issue for Rashmika, they say.
When Rashmika and Kiran are parting, Venky Kudumula apparently tried to patch them up by convincing Rashmika. Since then, disturbances started between both of them. The actress was angry about the director taking the Manager’s side and people say that is the breaking point where she lost interest in this film, #VNRTrio.
Incidentally, it is the smallest film in her lineup and she accepted it only due to the past friendships during Bheeshma.
The differences between Rashmika and Venky Kudumula led to a fallout and the actress cited dates issue to move out. Dates issue is always there for this film but Rashmika was keen to accommodate the film because of Venky who gave her Chalo, her debut movie and another hit with Bheeshma.
But when the issues crept in between them, she is no longer interested in the film.
Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of the film are also making Pushpa with her. They tried to reason with her but she would not say anything except for the dates issue. She informed them that she would return the money she was paid so far.
To ensure that Mythri (his regular client) does not think all this mess happened due to him, Kiran offered to bring Sree Leela into the film and obviously, that would make the film fancier due to the craze she has right now.
There are some people in the industry who would say Kiran wanted this to happen after his fallout with Rashmika and he achieved it.
