Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan made a visit to Chennai to grace the inaugural on-ground event for his highly anticipated film Jawan.
This movie holds special significance as it marks his maiden collaboration with director Atlee. The vibrant event unfolded at Sri Sairam Engineering College and brought Shah Rukh Khan face-to-face with his jubilant fans.
Shah Rukh Khan was looking so happy to see such pure love and adulation flowing from fans and all the cast and crew of Jawan.
Atlee said that SRK is bigger than his father for him, Anirudh said he would miss having those everyday one-hour video calls, Kamal Haasan called him an icon of love, and Vijay Sethupathi praised Shah Rukh as one of the best human beings.
Shah Rukh Khan must have realized that North Indians don’t celebrate movies and movie stars as they do in the South. Bollywood events are full of insecurity, controversies, and negativity.
Whereas in the South, the affection, respect, and adulation fans and the film industry have towards stars like him can’t be put into words.
In the recent past also, Ram Charan and Rajamouli shared Pathaan’s trailer, and Baahubali producer Shobhu Yarlagadda congratulated SRK on crossing Baahubali 2.
SRK fans are expressing that irrespective of Jawan’s fate at the box office, Shah Rukh Khan should work more with South Indian makers because the kind of respect he gets in the South is honest, unadulterated, and unmatched.
Jawan’s trailer will be unveiled today, and the film releases next week on September 7.
