Salaar 2 stands as one of the prospective pan-Indian actioners in the making as it banks on the success of the first part. The sequel is now apparently gearing up for the commencement of the shoot earlier than expected.
There are reports that the filming for Salaar 2 could be commencing by the end of this month and the tentative plan is to complete the filming by November. This will mean that the team will have to execute the entirety of the shooting part in six months.
While this might sound good on paper, executing the project in six months is much easier said than done.
Like for instance, Pushpa 2 is taking nearly 3 years after the release of the first part as extensive scripting and pre-production went in. KGF 2 took a good 4 years to be executed.
With Salaar having hit the theaters only last December, can Salaar 2 be executed by November, meaning the sequel is being wrapped in under a year? Is this going to be possible? There will be many logistical challenges like Prabhas’s dates(Filming for Kalki and Maruthi film) and executing the big event film in a span of six months.
Neel is known for getting things done quickly once the shoot starts, but even for him, executing the sequel in six months could be a really tall ask. But if he can pull it off and actually release the film next summer, this could well be the quickest big-ticket sequel in recent times
