Sandeep Reddy Vanga is making waves in the industry again, especially after sharing a picture from his office featuring a still of Megastar Chiranjeevi from his 1987 film Aradhana.
Despite the film’s box-office failure, Chiranjeevi’s intense portrayal as Puliraju, full of anger, has sparked curiosity.

Given Vanga’s trademark intense, aggressive heroes in his films, fans are speculating whether Puliraju’s character could have influenced Vanga’s cinematic style.
After Animal, Vanga is one of the most sought-after directors across both the South and North film industries. While Bollywood actors are eager to work with him, Vanga seems to be sticking with Telugu stars for now.

He’s already locked in Spirit with Prabhas, and an official project with Allu Arjun is also on the cards, though the timeline for that collaboration remains uncertain due to the packed schedules of both Vanga and Allu Arjun.
Vanga has often spoken highly of Chiranjeevi, citing him as a major influence. He’s mentioned how a scene in Master featuring Chiranjeevi inspired him, fueling growing interest in a potential collaboration.

However, Chiranjeevi’s current commitments, including Vishwambhara, an Anil Ravipudi film, and other future projects, may delay this dream collaboration.
Sandeep Vanga is busy with Spirit and then Animal Park, which will take at least four years. Then the project with Allu Arjun might materialize, which might take another two years.
Also, Vanga now needs a pan-India hero in all of his films for his current market which Chiranjeevi isn’t.
So, a Chiranjeevi film with Vanga isn’t practically possible until 2030. Chiru would have crossed the age of 75 by the time this film happens.
Vanga might hype Chiranjeevi on social media, but practically speaking Sandeep Vanga is out of league for Megastar as things stand today.
It would be better if Sandeep Vanga could plan a cameo for Chiru in Spirit or the Allu Arjun film to make the dream come true for fans.
