As the Pushpa fever is taking over the crowd with immaculate hype and mass fest, fans look forward to another hyped sequel of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal.
Bold statements, controversies, and countless debates surrounded Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal released in 2023. The film sparked a huge debate among the fans for portraying extreme levels of violence, moral values, and overall plot.

As the film’s sequel approaches, many would anticipate it to be one of the best sequels of all time given the first part’s response. Looking at some of the sequels that generated mass hype and delivered on that aspect are KGF, Pushpa, and Bahubali.
For instance, Pushpa 2 might not be the perfect sequel to Pushpa 1 as it lacks a properly laid out plot and has several story mishaps. However, the main target of the film was massive audiences which are from tier 2 and tier 3 cities, and in that aspect, the film is a huge blockbuster.

It is selling tickets way faster than expected reaching its overall collection of over 300 crores in its first weekend. Despite not being a masterpiece or classic to watch, the mass appeal and hype are truly being justified and director Sukumar deserves appreciation for this remarkable feat.
The same case can be seen with Prashanth Neel’s KGF, which collected around 40 crores in the Hindi market with its first part. Having set up a base and with extraordinary hype for the second part, KGF 2 minted over 450 crores in the Hindi market showcasing the jump.

SS Rajamouli’s legendary Bahubali started the revolution for the South film industry by collecting 100 crores from its first part at the Hindi box office. The conclusive part however crossed the 500 crore mark making it an all-time blockbuster.
These films created a base on which their sequels landed on the North Indian box office. However, Animal has already established itself as an all-time blockbuster collecting over 500 crores.
The main question that arises is whether Sandeep Vanga would be able to justify the hype of the sequel just like SS Rajamouli, Sukumar and Prashanth Neel did.
Given the expectations and immense hype for Animal Park, predictions are that the film can cross 1000 crores, 1500 crores, or 2000 crores. If things fall in place, we don’t know where it will stop. Only time will tell if Sandeep Vanga will be able to pull off a massive blockbuster and justify the sequel or not.
