Sandeep Reddy Vanga is one of the most sought-after directors in Indian cinema. After Animal, his next project Spirit with Prabhas is one of the most anticipated movies of all time. But Vanga has been waiting for Prabhas’ dates to plan his shooting.
Insiders claim that he has already lost over a year waiting for Spirit to start. Despite being announced with immense fanfare, the project hasn’t moved beyond pre-production, and as of now, no shooting schedules have been planned. Sources say that even the regular shoot might not commence this year.

Prabhas isn’t shooting in April. His next release The Raja Saab is said to need 40 more working days, and Fauji’s shoot is still in early stages. In such a scenario, Spirit is said to be stuck in limbo.
However, fans of Prabhas believe the wait is justified. For them, he is not just a superstar but the biggest pan-India phenomenon.

They believe that when Prabhas delivers a well-packaged film, it doesn’t just break records — it sets new ones altogether. So, Vanga waiting is a calculated bet on a box office monster like Prabhas.
Adding to the delays is Prabhas’ lingering knee injury. Sources say Vanga has made it clear — no compromises on action. He wants Prabhas to be in peak physical shape before shooting the high-intensity sequences. That’s why reportedly the actor is currently in Italy, undergoing treatment.

Interestingly, there are even some wild rumors that Sandeep Reddy Vanga might roll a quickie with Ram Charan before Spirit. With nearly 60% of Peddi already wrapped up, a fast-paced project could fit in.
It would be highly exciting if Vanga decides to roll out a high-impact film with Charan before his long-awaited Spirit takes off.
However, these are all far-fetched speculations.
