
The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to grant more time to Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt to surrender to undergo remaining three-and-a-half-year jail term in the 1993 illegal possession of arms case. This veredict came in after a film producer knocked at Supreme’s court seeking more time for Sanju Baba to complete his film commitments.
In all probabbility, Sanjay Dutt is out of options and had to surrender on May 16th to undergo his remaining jail term (three and a half years). He has already undergone one and a half-year jail term.
