Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram’s film with Anil Ravipudi has officially locked the Sankranthi 2027 window. Nagarjuna’s next has also announced January 15, 2027 as its release date, while Nithiin’s next is reportedly targeting the same festival season.
Chiranjeevi’s film with Bobby is also being discussed as a Sankranthi 2027 release. Now, Sharwanand and Sreenu Vaitla’s George Krish has also joined the race, with the makers announcing January 14, 2027 as its release date.
On paper, it looks like a perfect festival lineup for audiences. But for the industry, having too many big films arriving at the same time can become a serious challenge. With more films still expected to join the race, Sankranthi 2027 could get even more crowded in the coming months.
